PATHWAYS is a collaborative program between CAUSINDY and the Australia-Indonesia Youth Association (AIYA) that matches AIYA members from Australia and Indonesia with experienced professionals in their field of interest. The aim is to carve a pathway for the next generation to develop the skills they need to build their desired careers in the Australia-Indonesia bilateral relationship.

CAUSINDY and AIYA matches mentors and mentees based on shared interests and expertise. Our team also provides each pair with advice and resources to help them get the most from the mentoring relationship.

When it comes to nurturing the next generation of Australian and Indonesian leaders, the PATHWAYS program plays a pivotal role. By participating in the program, you will be immersed in a community that is passionate about strengthening the bilateral relationship between Australia and Indonesia.

There are many benefits for both mentors and mentees. For mentors, this program is an opportunity to develop your coaching skills and help the next generation of leaders learn from your professional experiences. Mentees will be empowered and encouraged during personal and professional development to identify and achieve your career goals.

The commitment is small – monthly virtual meetings at you and your mentee’s/mentor’s discretion. The program consists of virtual meetings conducted across the course of six months. Your participantion is flexible and can be tailored to suit your availability and interests. The PATHWAYS team is available to provide advice and support at each step.
